Privacy Policy

Our commitment to protecting your privacy and ensuring transparency

Last Updated: March 11, 2025

Welcome to Nexium, a Web3 application built on the Solana blockchain. We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring transparency regarding how data is handled in connection with our services. This Privacy Policy applies to all users of our application.

1. Data We Collect

We do not actively collect or store personal data such as names, emails, phone numbers, or other personally identifiable information (PII). Our application operates in a decentralized manner, and the only identifier we may encounter is your Solana wallet address, which is a pseudonymous public key used to interact with the blockchain. Wallet addresses alone do not reveal your real-world identity.

  • No Direct Data Collection: We do not request or retain emails, passwords, or any PII beyond what is necessary for blockchain transactions, which are processed in real-time and not stored by us.
  • Analytics Data: We may collect anonymized analytics data through our service providers to improve our app. This may include:
    • The number of users accessing the app.
    • Time spent on the app or specific pages.
    • The country from which the app is accessed.
This data is aggregated and does not contain identifiable information about individual users.

2. Data Collected by Service Providers

Our application relies on third-party service providers to deliver our services, including:

  • Helius for Solana blockchain data and RPC services.
  • Vercel for hosting and deployment.

These providers may collect or store data based on internet traffic, such as IP addresses, browser types, or device information, as part of their standard operations. We do not control these providers' data practices, and any data they collect is subject to their respective privacy policies. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of Helius and Vercel for more details.

3. How We Use Your Data

  • Wallet Addresses: Your wallet address is used solely for processing blockchain transactions in real-time. We do not store or link wallet addresses to personal identities after transactions are complete.
  • Analytics: The anonymized analytics data we may collect is used to enhance our app's performance, user experience, and service offerings. For example, we might analyze which features are most used to prioritize future updates.

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure

  • We do not sell, trade, or otherwise share your wallet address or any personal data with third parties.
  • Analytics data, being anonymized, may be shared with our service providers (e.g., Helius, Vercel) to improve our app, but it will not be used to identify you.
  • We may disclose data if required by law or to protect our rights, property, or safety, but since we do not store user data, any such disclosure would pertain to data handled by our service providers or publicly available blockchain transactions. Where feasible, we will notify users of any such disclosure, subject to legal constraints.

5. Data Security

Since we do not store personal data, we do not maintain databases of user information. However, we implement reasonable security measures to protect our app's infrastructure and the transaction processes. Your wallet's security (e.g., private keys, seed phrases) remains your responsibility, as it is managed by your wallet provider (e.g., Phantom, Solflare).

6. Your Choices

  • Opt-Out of Analytics: If our service providers offer an opt-out mechanism (e.g., Do Not Track headers via Vercel or Helius analytics tools), you may use it to limit analytics collection. However, this may not affect blockchain transaction data.
  • Wallet Control: You control your wallet address and can choose not to interact with our app.

7. Children's Privacy

Our app is not intended for individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If we become aware of such data, we will delete it to the extent it is within our control.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. Updates will be posted here with a revised "Last Updated" date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.

9. Contact Us

If you have questions about this Privacy Policy or our data practices, please contact us at support@nexiumdapp.xyz or through our Discord. Note that we do not store contact information provided to us.

10. Disclaimer

This Privacy Policy is not a contract and does not create legal rights or obligations beyond what is required by applicable law. As a Web3 application, we operate in a decentralized environment, and some data (e.g., transaction details) is publicly available on the Solana blockchain, which is beyond our control.
